BriefBuilt is a done-for-you Shopify storefront service. You choose a package, complete one guided brief and review the storefront privately before handover.
The process keeps the scope clear without turning the project into a long agency engagement. Here is what happens from package selection to final transfer.
1. Choose the package that fits your storefront
Every project begins with one storefront package:
- Launch: a storefront built around your brand and content, with up to one feedback round;
- Reviewed: a storefront built around your brand and content, with up to two feedback rounds;
- Studio: a storefront built around your brand and content, with up to three feedback rounds.
Optional add-ons cover a defined amount of product migration, copywriting or atmosphere imagery. See the current prices and complete inclusions on the pricing page.
2. Receive one private project link
After payment, you receive one private link for your brief, files, project status, preview and feedback. This keeps the work together and reduces scattered email threads.
Never send passwords, Shopify two-factor codes or payment details. BriefBuilt uses the appropriate Shopify access route for the storefront work.
3. Complete the guided brief
The brief collects the business facts and materials needed for your package: your offer, audience, brand files, page content, product information, visual direction and important constraints.
You remain the source for facts about your products and business. If something essential is missing, BriefBuilt will ask for it rather than inventing it. The pre-build readiness checklist can help you prepare.
4. BriefBuilt builds the storefront
BriefBuilt designs and configures the customer-facing Shopify storefront within your selected package scope. The work is prepared in a Shopify theme that stays private while you review it.
AI tools may assist parts of the work, but BriefBuilt controls the process and checks the result. Paid themes, apps, custom functionality and third-party licences are separate unless the package or add-on explicitly includes them.
5. Review the storefront privately
You receive a private preview before anything goes live. Review the pages, hierarchy, visual direction and responsive storefront within the agreed scope.
You can approve the preview or submit one combined feedback list. Keeping feedback together makes the revision clearer and avoids changes being scattered across several channels.
6. Use the feedback rounds included in your package
For every feedback round you use, BriefBuilt prepares the revision, checks and corrects the updated storefront, and then shares a new preview with you.
Launch includes up to one round, Reviewed up to two and Studio up to three. Unused rounds are not converted into other services, and corrections made by BriefBuilt during review do not use another customer feedback round.
7. Approve the final storefront
Once you are happy with the final preview, you approve that version. BriefBuilt then prepares the storefront for handover.
Your approval does not publish the store automatically. You keep control of the final go-live decision.
8. Keep ownership of the Shopify business
BriefBuilt focuses on the storefront. You remain responsible for:
- the Shopify account;
- products and inventory;
- payment providers;
- taxes and registrations;
- shipping and fulfilment;
- policies and legal content;
- subscriptions, apps and licences;
- the final publication decision.
This distinction keeps the service clear: BriefBuilt builds the storefront for you, while you retain control of the business and Shopify account.
Is BriefBuilt the right fit?
BriefBuilt is designed for founders and ecommerce businesses that have a real business direction, can supply the required content and want a professional Shopify storefront without building the theme themselves.
It is not a headless build, bespoke Shopify app, unlimited catalog cleanup, complete brand strategy or outsourced operation of payments, taxes and fulfilment.
If that fits your project, compare the three packages. If you are still exploring the visual direction, you can also request a Free Store Preview.
